Review by Chanta Rand
This time travel romance was a refreshing change from the same old regency romances. It covers a time period that is rarely (if ever) written about – Ancient China. I loved this from beginning to end. The author seamlessly transported me from modern times to Ancient China. This is the story of woman, Fiona who has an accident and is transported back in time where she ends up finding the love of her life, Kellach. I was so engrossed in this tale that when Fiona was abruptly jerked back to her old life, I almost cried with her. This book reminded me of one of my favorite romances, Somewhere in Time. Not because of the storyline, but because the story was told so beautifully. The characters were believable, and I wanted them to prevail against all odds. The ending has a nice twist. Pick this one up. You won’t regret it.

About the Reviewer:
I’m a multi-published author of sizzling-hot African-American romance. I’m also a Walking Dead fan and a recovering shoe addict. I never met a stiletto I didn’t like! I’ve always been an avid reader of all romance genres. A few years ago, I decided to share my knowledge of Egypt and Nubia by publishing my first African-American historical romance, entitled Pharaoh’s Desire. Then, in November of 2010, I published my first urban romance, The Highest Bidder. Whether I’m writing historical or contemporary romances, I always try to educate my readers and teach them something they may not have known before. When I’m not writing, I enjoy doing anything artsy, collecting Native American pottery, and indulging in my one true obsession – shoe shopping! I live in Dallas, TX with my husband, photographer Kerry Rand.
